Sadia is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning at Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto. She is also currently working as an instructor in the Computer Science Department at the University of Toronto Mississauga campus, and has previously worked in the Communications, Culture and I.T. Department as a Sessional Instructional Assistant. She has a Master's degree in Communication and New Media from McMaster University. Currently, her research interest is in incorporating creativity and play into undergraduate Computer Science education. She is interested in exploring the work/play dichotomy and attitudes toward play-based learning in adult education. She is also interested in the potential role that computers and new technologies could have in incorporating new ways of learning within undergraduate courses.
